The host was pretty grumpy when I arrived, though he seemed a little more welcoming the next morning. The rooms and showers were clean, but for the price I expected proper bedsheets, not single-use paper ones. That felt more like something for a prison than a hostel. The food filled me up, but I didn't really enjoy it.

We had a lovely lunch at Au Chat Bleu, and they took us in even though we hadn't booked, thank you! It's up in a very pretty little village, with a magnificent setting. The windows and terrace look out onto a lovely view, and inside there's charming decor with lots of cats. The staff were friendly, and the family-style cooking came in generous portions. We tried a mixed platter and two local beers, and recommend both.

The staff were very friendly, though they seemed a little inexperienced, since we had to ask for both water and bread. The meals are simple, and it's a bit of a shame they don't make more use of local products. The place is on the heights of this particularly quiet village, with a very beautiful panoramic view from the terrace. The setting is pleasant, and the sunshine adds to the atmosphere.

The friendly owner made us a generous, delicious homemade meal, and the staff were very kind too. The €18 set menu included a starter, main course, and dessert, which was more than reasonable. I loved the refreshing salad, the flavorful meat cooked just right, and the divine cherry tart with bits of pistachio. We'll definitely come back.
