The big terrace beside the lake was a lovely place to unwind or have a picnic, and there’s a roomy indoor pool too. Breakfast was excellent, generous and tasty, with a great view over the water, and it’s served until 10:00 am. We felt really looked after during our week there. The owners were welcoming and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The chalet sits in a lovely forested spot by a lake, almost like being in the mountains, with hiking trails starting right nearby. It’s also a handy base for seeing the Limousin region, and the main local sights are around a 30 to 45-minute drive away. Our room was spacious, well furnished, and had modern amenities.

The setting by the water was gorgeous and so quiet, and the pool was a nice extra. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and decorated in a modern, tasteful way, with a roomy bedroom. Breakfast was very good, and the managers were helpful and easy to reach. We’d happily recommend it.
