For one night’s sleep, it’s fine. The shower is squeezed into the toilet area, so that corner feels cramped. Breakfast is okay and costs 5€ per person. If you’re heading north from Spain or south from northern France, expect a bit of a drive off the highway to reach the hotel, and back to it the next day.

The view of the McDonald’s is spectacular, I’ll give it that. Otherwise there’s nothing to recommend beyond the price. The broken light and poor air conditioning need attention, and the place could use a refurb. It’s about what you’d expect of a budget hotel, and Michelin stars aren’t on the cards.

The rooms are tiny, and although there’s a bathroom, you only get one towel. It should be fine if you’re not too picky.

The air smelled horrible, and the sheets had stains and cigarette burns. They didn’t seem to have been changed. Paying 49.55 euro for one night was disgusting. I regret not sleeping in the car.
