Domaine de Couilleuse

The warm welcome from Marion and her family made this one of our most special trips. Her daughters greeted us with homemade lemonade and cookies, and we had so many lovely chats with everyone. Our room was stylish and comfortable, and the house and grounds were beautiful. My husband enjoyed fishing in the little pond with help from Shiva and Soso. Breakfasts were fantastic, with homemade jam, yogurt, and granola. We also had two incredible dinners: a wonderful board of charcuterie and fromage, then chicken with chorizo sauce and rice. There were delicious homemade treats with every meal, and we’ll always remember the terrine and seed crackers. We can’t wait to come back. Domaine de Couilleuse is a magical place to stay while exploring the Châteaus of the Loire.

Breakfast, with its local and homemade products, was a delight, and our spacious room had tasteful decor and a very comfortable bed. The hosts were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always available without being intrusive. Domaine de Couilleuse is a peaceful haven. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely return!

We spent three peaceful, relaxing days surrounded by nature, with the pool nearby. Marion and her family, along with their two dogs, gave us such a warm welcome. The room was superb, the homemade breakfasts were lovely, and we enjoyed a delicious meal. Marion is an incredible host, and the property is just as wonderful. The gîte is in a great spot near Chambord, perfect for unwinding. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Marion!

We chose the dinner option for our night at Domaine de Couilleuse, and it was well worth the extra cost. Marion made delicious dishes herself and looked after us wonderfully. We had a really lovely stay and warmly recommend this estate as a stop on a tour of the Loire Valley châteaux.
