The owner was really unwelcoming, and her behavior seemed stupid to me. She also won’t allow parties in the party room. I strongly discourage anyone from going there.

The staff were kind, professional, and available throughout my stay at Domaine de Romefort, and I felt at ease from the start. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had modern comforts, with very comfortable bedding. The whole estate feels peaceful, surrounded by rolling green countryside and wide views. I woke to birdsong each morning, and the quiet made it easy to unwind. There’s plenty to do: I went hiking on picturesque local trails, visited cultural sights and enjoyed learning about the area’s heritage. The estate’s well-kept pool, with comfortable loungers around it, was a lovely place to relax in the sun. Meals were a highlight too. They used fresh local ingredients, and I enjoyed the generous, varied breakfasts and dinners that often featured regional specialties. The facilities throughout were immaculate and carefully maintained. With its setting, attentive service, and range of activities, my stay exceeded expectations. I’d highly recommend the Romefort estate to anyone wanting a memorable break in a beautiful, restful place.

We rented the cottage for the end of the year and got a very warm welcome. It’s spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with a lovely countryside setting that felt like a real return to nature. The old building means the soundproofing could be better, and it was cold in the stairwell. Apart from that, I recommend it.

The owners are more than charming, and the cottage "le manoir" is enchanting. Everything is thoughtfully laid out in a magnificent setting, making this a magical place for a family get-together spanning ages 2 to 70. Little ones have a safe space to run around, teens can use the pool and enjoy the various activities, and anyone looking to relax can enjoy the peace and quiet. Absolutely a place to discover!
