Sully showed us around his garden, and it was better than any guided botanical tour could have been. Mamie, her husband Sully, and their son gave us a truly authentic Réunion Island welcome. Our clean, comfortable room looked out onto a lovely garden and had a refrigerator, air conditioning, and television. There's also a little gazebo at the back with a jacuzzi. Breakfast was generous, with local products. Our only disappointment was that the set menu wasn't offered during our two-night stay, so we didn't get to try it.

The exotic garden overlooking the sea is beautiful and full of variety. We had a lovely weekend at Mamie's in early February, with a warm welcome and tasty fresh fruit juice. Breakfast was wonderful, with homemade jams and fresh fruit. It's a great base for walks by the sea at Étang Salé or hikes towards Tévelave. If you're going to Les Avirons, don't hesitate to book at Mamie's! ✅

A bit late to write this, but we stayed with Mamie and Sully in October 2022 and felt comfortable right away. Sully takes great care of the garden, and Mamie is a wonderful cook. We spent some lovely evenings there, and the jacuzzi has a perfect view. Highly recommended. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We loved chatting with Mamie and Sully over meals and breakfast. Mamie is a quiet, attentive host, while Sully is cheerful and keeps the garden looking beautiful. The spa has a breathtaking view over the ocean, and our stay left us feeling completely refreshed. We highly recommend the guesthouse. Pascale and Jean-Loup

Sully took time to show us his garden and explain all the different trees. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, with a stunning ocean view, and the hosts are lovely to spend time talking with. We had a perfect stay at Grandma's and highly recommend it!
