Dodo house has a fun atmosphere, clean rooms and facilities, good breakfast with cake, bread, fruit, granola, and coffee, plus enjoyable activities. It’s a great place to stay while visiting La Réunion. Getting there was a bit of a struggle, though the view made it worthwhile, and I ran into some trouble with a refund. That’s all sorted now, and I’d still recommend the place.

Those owners were the coolest, and the hostel had such a good vibe. They even joined us for a VR shooter game 🥳😄 My time in Réunion was ten times better because I stayed there.

The common areas made it easy to chat with people, and there was also somewhere to go for a bit of privacy. I had a great time at Dodo House, and the view was magnificent. The dorms were comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, and the whole place was spotless. Breakfast was generous, with both a sweet and a savory cake made the day before by the WWOOFers. There were board games and gear for snorkeling or camping, too, which helped make it feel like home. Thanks to Claire for being so kind and running things so well, and to the WWOOFers Caroline, Carla, Candice, and Nolan for their energy, hospitality, and the good times we shared. See you soon!
