Villa Belisama

I haven’t stayed there, but the location looks fabulous and the prices seem very good too.

The setting is magnificent, with little streets full of flowers, and there’s a gourmet restaurant right next door that’s a real delight. Breakfast was included in our package, and it was very complete and very good. The host is kind and chatty 😂, though it was hard to reach him by phone when trying to make a reservation. I liked the B&B more than my partner did. There was no key to lock the door, and the bathtub wasn’t practical for someone tall, with water splashing everywhere. The furniture also wasn’t very modern. I noticed a strong dog smell as soon as we entered the house, likely because the host has a beautiful, large dog.

We shared a delicious, very generous meal with the host, made with local produce. The old village house is beautifully decorated and has a romantic feel, ideal for couples and nature lovers. It’s also very well situated, and there’s a warm welcome waiting at this charming gîte.

Terraces look out over beautiful mountain and valley views from this characterful place at the top of the old town, with parking nearby. We were warmly welcomed and had informative conversations about the region and other things. The gourmet meal featured local produce and artisan products. I recommend the blueberry tart with mango sorbet. Well worth a visit.
