Hôtel Terminus

The location is good.

We spent three nights here, and the price felt fair for what was included. The staff were very welcoming, and it has a family-run feel. There’s a supermarket, restaurants and a bakery just 5-20 meters away. It’s also handy for trains and buses, with the historic centre only a few minutes away. I’d choose it again on another trip to the region.

We were booked here for a business trip. The location was handy, about a five-minute walk from the station and a good 15 minutes from the city centre, but the hotel is in its original condition. It had clearly been cleaned, yet everything looked old and patched up, with roughly repainted doors and holes in the walls. The front window says the rooms are soundproofed, but that clearly wasn't true. The bed was adequate, though there were no pillows, just a small bolster, and there were blankets on the bed. Breakfast wasn't good: one croissant and bread per person, with tea and coffee. The bread didn't seem to come from a bakery, or at least not one making traditional bread. The tea had no flavour and the orange juice was sour. There were also packets of Krisprolls, brioche and other pastries. Dirty towels had been left in the hallway for at least 15 hours. My employer arranged the booking, so I don't know the price. Either way, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Breakfast is very basic, but the hotel is well located. It should be fine for a night or two.
