Hotel Kyriad Saint Malo centre Plage

We extended our time in the area and spent one night here with our family of three and our dog. We'd come from a four-star hotel in Dinard, but enjoyed this one more. Our family duplex had the best ocean view of the whole trip. It was mostly updated, though the bathroom was a bit dated, and we could walk straight out past the boardwalk to the sea. I also loved reading on the patio at the bar, where the service was amazing. I'd highly recommend this hotel for this particular room.

The view from our quadruple room was great, but the room felt like a closet. It was meant for three to four adults, yet even with the sofa bed folded away, it was hard to get around our luggage and each other, and the sofa was very uncomfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and found us a separate room for one night, but nothing else was available. The terrace bar was supposed to stay open until 1 am, but the person running it closed the terrace around 10, just as we were enjoying the sunset, and told us to leave.

The pillows were so good I would have bought one if I hadn't had to fly it home. We loved our stay: the hotel is right on the beach, close to restaurants and the intra-muros area, and the location is wonderful. Our room was between the bar and a shared toilet, so I expected noise, but I didn't hear a thing. Can't wait to come back!

After a month of travelling, the high-quality breakfast, rooms, and staff here were fabulous. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish.
