The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of homemade food, and the hosts were so kind and easy to reach whenever we needed help. We stayed in a lovely old house with modern comforts and enough room for our small family. It’s a quiet B&B on the edge of town, but Saint-Malo is small, so the restaurants and shops by the coast are only a short drive away and still walkable. I rarely enjoy a place as much as I enjoyed this one. I don’t have plans to return to St Malo soon, but I’d happily stay at La Haute Flourie again.

We booked an hour in the sauna and jacuzzi for two, though we didn’t stay in the rooms. The space was beautiful and clean, and Marie welcomed us warmly. She did her best to speak English, which was really helpful, and walked us through how to use both the sauna and jacuzzi. We’d definitely like to book again.

The host at La Haute Flourie suggested several excellent restaurants and shared a lovely cycling route to Dinan, which is well worth seeing. They rent both electric and regular bikes. We had a great time in Saint Malo.

We’ve now stayed at the Haute Flourie twice with our three children, and the hosts have been welcoming each time. They also gave us useful ideas for seeing the area. Marie shared her homemade jam recipes with us, and breakfast is always a lovely start to the day.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay. The interior is beautiful, with colors that work really well together, and the host was kind and gave us good suggestions for places to see.
