The seafood was extremely unfresh and unacceptable. After I sent my dish back, they rinsed it with water and tried to serve it to me again. That was unhygienic and very unprofessional. I strongly advise people to avoid this restaurant.

It’s a friendly, welcoming place to stay for the price, and we may come back on our next visit. The location is excellent for exploring: the city wall walk is literally 30 seconds away, the beach is two minutes on foot, and the town shops are a five-minute walk.

The desserts were the highlight, especially the gingerbread and chocolate mousse. We ate here with my wife and two boys. The food was good and unflashy, with mussels and fish, though the menu was limited, particularly for vegetarian options. It’s by the beach, away from the hustle, and good value.

The food was utterly delicious, and the waiter was super friendly when I came in with my dog for a busy lunchtime. I was travelling solo, and he spoke excellent English. Sorry, my French was appalling. The restaurant is tucked away in a great spot near both the beach and the main city. I couldn’t fault it. Thanks for having me!
