After trying to buy a place, I wanted to rent one and saw a nice apartment advertised in the window for €1200. It turned out to be unavailable. The agency had apparently left the ad there to “attract customers.” There are lots of agencies in St-Malo, so look elsewhere. 😉

The place is nicely decorated, recently renovated, and well located near the walled city of Saint-Malo and the beach. But the welcome was basically nonexistent, the person didn't even come over. The two of us, mother and daughter, had to haul three large suitcases up three flights of a narrow staircase. None of that was mentioned in the listing. The apartment is small, and I can't see how it fits four people. There's nowhere to store our things, the shower spills over, the Wi-Fi cuts in and out, the oven has no instructions, and soundproofing is poor. I'm changing my review after your reply. We arrived at 3:00 PM, not 10:45 PM, unless Brittany is the only part of France with a time difference. We never messaged you, so those remarks were completely inappropriate. You must have confused us with other customers, because we didn't harass you.
