Breakfast was a real highlight, with organic produce and excellent homemade jams and marmalade. The garden is peaceful, with open views from the bedrooms, a pond, an old greenhouse, and several inviting places to sit. There’s also a very friendly, energetic cat. The villa feels more like a friend’s home than a standard hotel, thanks to its tasteful decor and the hosts’ personal approach. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished and each has its own washroom. We spent three days and two nights with this warm, welcoming couple, who seem to host because they truly enjoy meeting guests. Saint Marcel is handy for Vernon and Giverny, and the couple know good local places if you ask. I’d love to come back, maybe make it an annual break from city life. I’m already looking forward to it.

The breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had, and the couple hosting us were wonderfully welcoming. The house is beautiful, set among magical gardens. Hard to ask for more.

The beds were really comfortable, and the showers and WiFi were excellent. It’s a lovely home run by lovely people. I’ll definitely be back for another true French stay. Très Bien!

The rooms were large, lovely, and clean, and the setting was peaceful and cool, just right for a work trip. The location is excellent too. The owners were warm, attentive, and cheerful. Definitely worth stopping here.
