The welcome is lovely, and January 2023 was another stay I really enjoyed. The hosts are friendly, the setting is peaceful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s such a relaxing place, with friendly locals popping by the outdoor bar. I always have a great stay here.

The room was on the small side, but had enough space for the two of us and a private bathroom. Its ceiling window made it feel even prettier. Kirsty and Lee welcomed us warmly to their lovely renovated French cottage, with its beautiful garden and plastic swimming pool. Their two little dogs were friendly, and our Bearded Collie, Atlas, settled in as if he were at home, maybe even better. We shared dinner with Kirsty and Lee, and the food was excellent. The fields around here are wonderfully colourful and make for a romantic view wherever you look. Congrats to them for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely come back when we visit the area again.

We had a comfortable bed, hot water and a spotless room, plus an amazing breakfast. There’s a bar for a nice drink, and on Wednesday evenings you can try the fish and chips. The owners are really friendly and hospitable.

What a find. On a long bike ride across France, it was lovely to get a proper cuppa, have a chat with fun Englishmen who’ve moved to the region, and sit in the shade for a bit. Thanks, Lee, for being so kind. Our vulvas are forever grateful 😂
