The kitchen looked well stocked enough for a longer stay, and the accommodation was very clean. Christian was really helpful when I arrived late, and kindly made it easy for me to stay a second night too. Lovely place.

Alex had set up the kitchen and outdoor areas so they worked well even when lots of us were around. We had a fresh, lovely bedroom overlooking the garden. The house is easy to share, with a great room just off the main valley road. There’s parking on the square, and a supermarket and baker about a ten-minute walk away, plus an excellent village restaurant. The valley’s great for walks. Thanks, Alex, for a memorable stay at Etxe Arrosa. I can’t recommend it enough.

Christian was incredibly welcoming. He showed us several rooms and let us choose one. They were all clean and beautiful, with great views and nice new bathrooms. I’d definitely come back.

That river is only a three-minute walk away, so we could swim and enjoy nature in the mountains. It was a perfect way to recharge. We spent two nights in the summer room, which had two single beds, with the bathroom and toilet along the hallway. The price felt more than reasonable, and the personalized breakfast was just €6. Thanks to the owner and his daughter for making us feel so warmly welcome.

Everything was easy, thanks in part to Christian, such a friendly host. The accommodation is lovely and the location is hard to beat. Highly recommended. If we’re back in the area, this will be our first choice.
