Hôtel Les Mésanges

The visit was unpleasant. The prices were way too high, and the food had a few problems. The meat we ordered was nearly raw, even though it was white meat that should have been cooked through. Then two flies turned up in one of our desserts. I’m pretty sure they just removed them and served it again instead of bringing a fresh dish. The other desserts looked packaged, like supermarket ones that cost half as much. We were quite disappointed with the restaurant.

The breakfast buffet in the morning was good, and dinner was nice too. We stayed one night, and the staff were great, helping us arrange a late dinner and really wanting to make us happy. Really good for a three-star hotel.

From the balcony, the mountain views were amazing, and the garden with its pool was really pleasant. But the beds weren’t the most comfortable, and without AC the room got incredibly hot at night.

We had a two-day meeting here with 20 colleagues. The location was quiet and pleasant, with a meeting room and bedrooms, plus an outdoor garden looking onto beautiful mountain scenery. The staff were friendly and the food was good. Try the local drinks after dinner, Chartreuse and genepy.
