We really enjoyed our snow holiday here. The pitches are roomy, and the facilities stayed clean, comfortable, and warm. The owners were so welcoming and spoke English, making a real effort to help us have a pleasant stay. The shuttle to the gondola start worked really well. We'd definitely recommend it.
The free ski transfer from the campsite to the Prorel lift was brilliant, and nothing seemed too much trouble. It’s a fantastic place for winter camping and skiing at Serre Chevalier, with great facilities and lovely, friendly owners. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks!
We’ve been coming here for nine years, and my sons are teenagers now. The mountain views are stunning, and we love having communal BBQ areas. There’s plenty to do nearby, including hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, tennis, rafting, and visiting the beautiful city of Briancon. We’ll be back in 2026!
The river nearby makes such a soothing sound, and the campground itself is gorgeous and peaceful. We spent a week there in tents as a family. Our teenagers didn’t join in, but there were concerts and a magic show on two evenings, and I believe younger children had daily activities too. We enjoyed hiking, mountain biking, climbing at nearby Roche Baron, and swimming and relaxing at les bains de Monetier. The price for a pitch was very reasonable. Toilets and showers were clean, reception was helpful and welcoming, and the snack bar served excellent food and local beers. I’d definitely recommend Iscle Prelles camping for a visit to the Serre Chevalier valley.
The reception gave us some great hiking route suggestions, and they also helped us deal with the rocky ground when it was hard to hammer in our tent pegs. We had a great stay, with a lovely location, clean facilities, friendly service, and a heated pool that was a big plus.
