Pascal and his family made us feel very welcome, and we’ll definitely return. Our room had a great view, and the hotel is right by the quayside at St Martin de Ré, close to restaurants and bars. The decor is beautiful and quirky. What a gem.

This is a beautiful old guard house, refurbished as a guest house and decorated with real taste. Every room has an ocean view.

The attentive service at breakfast and the excellent food made a lovely stay even better. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the setting itself was beautiful. This was our second visit, every bit as wonderful as the first. We’ll definitely return.

The house is right on the water, and the view from "Trousse Chemise" is enchanting and unmatched. Corps de Garde was a marvelous dream-house stay, with superb decor. Babeth, Julia, and Pascal were attentive and gave us excellent advice.
