We spent five nights in Seagul, a gorgeous, well-equipped apartment, and had a wonderful family trip on the unique island of ile de re, with bike paths running across it. St Martin village is only three minutes away by bike, with great restaurants and a lovely atmosphere. Clos Rhea’s grounds are amazing, with gardens, a pool, sauna, steam room, pool table, bar, bike storage, and barbecues. Thoroughly recommend it.

Our host was helpful and welcoming, and I’d recommend this hotel to families with young children. St Martin and the rest of the island are easy to reach by car. We stayed three nights in a nice room with a well-equipped kitchenette and a terrace with loungers, a table, and chairs. There was an occasional drain smell.

A lovely site and a great pool made for a fantastic family holiday. The accommodation was comfortable, with lots to do and see. Le Clos Rhea was just right for our family of five: parents, grandparents, and our three-year-old son. Thank you!

The owners had a seafood platter ready and waiting when we arrived, which was such a nice touch. We had a wonderful family weekend at the Seagull cottage. It was beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely come back.

We had a very pleasant stay at the end of August in a bright apartment where nothing was missing. The little private garden was ideal, overlooking the children’s play area and shaded by a palm tree. It was easy to make the most of lovely Saint-Martin-de-Ré with private parking, bike storage, a heated pool, and the spa, all top-notch.
