La Mandrélie - La Cabane Du Grand Chêne

We felt very well looked after by our welcoming host, and the cabin by the lake had everything we needed. It’s spacious, spotless, and furnished with lovely linens, with comfort clearly thought through. The whole place is peaceful and restorative. Exceptional stay, and I’d happily recommend the cabin.

The owners have made the cabin both welcoming and well equipped, and the setting is gorgeous. We especially enjoyed the generous, delicious tasting platter and relaxing in the Nordic bath. A perfect spot for a romantic night away.

Aurélie and Franck were thoughtful and attentive while still being discreet, and their professionalism really stood out. The peaceful property is made for unwinding. The sharing platters and meals were generous and high quality. Flawless, bravo! 😉

The ready-to-eat items in the minibar meant we could eat whenever we wanted, and both breakfast and the generous evening meal were delicious. The homemade fig jam deserves a special mention. We also appreciated the warm welcome from the friendly owners and the pool. We stayed one night in the Grand Chêne cabin and loved its calm, cozy feel. It was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a lovely view and a well-equipped terrace. The jacuzzi and sauna were especially relaxing outdoors under the stars. A few small things could be better: there was no hand soap, only a few shower gel and shampoo samples, and the Venetian blinds let the morning light in, so we woke up early. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, though useful in summer. It was a peaceful, refreshing break with real comfort in the middle of nature. We highly recommend it.
