Holiday Home in Le Manoir With Jacuzzi in Summer

The medieval feel made our family weekend feel like a real change of scene, and we enjoyed spending time outside in the beautiful Normandy sunshine. The manor house was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed, even for our large family. It’s also well located. We stayed for two nights and got a warm welcome from the accommodating owners. A weekend just how we like it. We’d happily do it again.

We spent the weekend with friends and had a guided tour with a host who was engaging and clearly passionate. The owner welcomed us warmly, and we all shared drinks in a magnificent medieval room. The house is charming and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the quality of the bedding. It’s also well located near Bayeux. We’ll definitely come back.

The owners have restored this gîte into a place where you quickly feel at home. We had a fantastic weekend with friends, and hearing them talk about the gîte’s history and history in general was incredibly interesting. Marie Christine and Georges gave us a wonderful welcome. Marie Christine served a delicious apple tart in the medieval reception room, while Georges shared fascinating historical explanations. The place is steeped in history, and staying there felt like a comfortable trip back in time. It was a memorable experience, and we definitely plan to return.
