The owner is really nice, and the general atmosphere is perfect. It's a beautiful place, with splendid views of the cliffs and mountains from the terraces. The campsite has a pool and restaurant, and St. Martin is close by for shops. One thing to know if you arrive out of season, say in September: the main sanitary building may be closed. The smaller one that's open then is only moderate.

The hillside pitches are terraced and look out over the valley, with cowbells ringing in the background. There's a small bar and shop, and the owners are very helpful. You can rent gas hot plates from them, since fires and barbecues aren't allowed. There's also a little play area and a pool for kids. St. Martin and its local shop, with a good cheese and wine selection, are within walking distance. A nice place in a beautiful valley.

We spotted the roadside sign while looking for lunch and found a great little spot by the campsite entrance. Had a lovely lunch in the sunshine.

The view across the meadows to the mountains is magnificent, especially when they turn russet at sunset. We had a peaceful, quiet stay, just right for relaxing and having a good time. The chalet was lovely, with well-situated pitches and plenty of space and everything needed for five people for a few days. The owners gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived for our Saturday-to-Monday Pentecost weekend. We were happy with our stay and have already booked two chalets for next September with friends.
