The food was delicious, and I enjoyed every bit of lunch with my dad, uncle col, Poppy, Grandma Joan, and Grandad Brian. Sitting outside was a nice change from being indoors in October. The weather had a mix of sun and clouds and was warm without getting too hot. I could see the church, and there was a view of what I think was a river, though I couldn't tell for sure. I had a sugar-free Coca-Cola as a weekend treat, which I don't usually have. It was a lovely experience, and the best lunch I've ever had. I've eaten at hotel de la plage in October and July, and it had been a long time since I visited Grandma and Grandad Brian's house in France. Lovely food, staff, service, and views. Another five out of five from me. This is my second review, and the first time I've written one in 2024. I thought my last one was in 2023, though I'm not sure.

The owner was both friendly and professional, and the young man behind the bar was kind, cheerful, and welcoming. Our room overlooking the Vienne River was quiet, spotless, and had everything we needed. We were only passing through and stayed one night. Breakfast was good and generous. I'd recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We had Sunday lunch on February 13th, three gentlemen in our party. The manager and waiter gave us a very warm welcome, and the health and safety rules were strictly followed. The cuisine was original and delicious, served with real professionalism and kindness by both of them. We’d happily come back. Thank you, and happy holidays.
