For a longer trip, this wouldn't be my choice, though it could work for one night. The room was small and basic, with no wardrobe, although the bed was comfortable. The price felt relatively high for what we got, and breakfast was very simple, with no fruit or dairy. It was our first time in the area, and later we found much better options.

The kitchen and its terrace were the highlights for us, with a stunning view across the limestone plateau. We also really valued the privacy of our room, the bread oven! Breakfast was excellent value. This is a great place to get away from everything, with only distant cowbells to hear. It's well placed for exploring the wonders of the Lot Valley, especially Cajarc, a charming, typical town with a family feel. It's Sagan's birthplace, a holiday retreat for Pompidou, and best known for the Coluche sketch at Molino's, who had a property nearby.

The welcome was really friendly, and the rooms are cozy. It's a beautiful farmhouse complex, and the terrace and kitchen are fantastic. A lovely way to unwind on the Causse du Quercy.

The summer kitchen was a real plus, very well equipped and set apart from the bedrooms. The cottage is lovely and peaceful, and the host was friendly and full of useful advice. The setting is beautiful. A must-see, and thanks again for a wonderful stay.
