I went to Le Moulin du Vivier to buy flour and was impressed by the choice and quality of the artisan-ground varieties. They can even grind some fresh on site. The staff were friendly and clearly passionate about what they make, and their excellent English made it easy to ask about the flours and milling process. The historic mill on the Canal du Midi is a special place, too. A great stop for high-quality, authentic products and a unique experience. Highly recommended!

For us, the busy road nearby wasn't a problem. We weren't sleeping on the canal side, and traffic eased at night, though you can hear it quite a bit. The large living room, bike repair workshop, washer and dryer, comfortable beds, and clean modern setup made this a perfect one-night stop for cycle touring, the best place on our Canal du Midi trip. One small thing, there's no water carafe in the main room.

There's flour for every taste, along with organic products from the area. The staff were friendly and gave helpful advice. Highly recommended.

The owners were really friendly, and the shared kitchen was a lovely space. Our room was comfortable and clean. Having a washing machine and dryer saved our bike trip because we were soaked! Thanks so much.

The products and customer service in the shop were impeccable. Just a heads-up, don't forget to ring the bell when you get home!
