Team Holiday - Camping le Moulin du Pont D’Alies

Axat has a great pizzeria for eating in or taking away, plus a bakery, pharmacy, and handy shop. There’s also a fruit and veg stall just off the campsite roundabout. The location is a real gem, with breathtaking views. We stayed in mid-June, just out of season, as a couple with our 2- and 4-year-old. The small kids’ pool and play area kept them entertained. Facilities were spotless and in good condition, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again. Lovely campsite!

A peaceful, lovely site with super friendly staff. It was high season, and 34 euros with electricity felt quite expensive. There’s a river along the back, though there’s only a small spot to paddle and it’s not really usable otherwise. Plenty of rafting nearby. There’s a pool, children’s swing, and a restaurant we didn’t try. You can buy bread there too.

Big pitches and a well-kept campsite right by the Aude. The sanitary facilities were perfectly clean, the pool was OK, and the restaurant looked OK too, though we didn’t eat there. It’s a handy base for lots of nearby activities, including rafting on the campsite, the Red Train, and the gorges. A really nice place to come back to.

We stopped for one night on a Pyrenees cycling trip and couldn’t fault the place. The pitches were a good size, the toilet and shower block was lovely and clean with great showers, and the receptionist was friendly. The pool looked nice, and there seemed to be plenty for kids too.
