We stayed here in an orchard at the end of the season, with lovely views. The facilities were great, including clean toilets, warm showers, and a campers' kitchen with covered seating. We got a warm welcome, though a payment mix-up put a dent in the stay. We were first charged for two nights, then queried the €48 price quoted for one night. The second woman seemed a little rude until she spotted the mistake: it was €36 a night, which felt fair for what was provided. We were happy to pay the difference and it was sorted out, but the confusion did spoil things a bit. We'd still recommend the campsite. It would've been five stars without the discrepancy.

Géraldine and her daughter were so friendly and helpful, and we had a fantastic week here with our four kids. Our pitch beneath the trees had a lovely mountain view, and the campsite was very clean. It's a great base in the Mercantour region, with the medieval centre of the St. Martin village an easy walk away. Géraldine suggested some lovely hikes and lent us her guidebook with the maps. We'll definitely be back.

A great deal if you're trekking through St Martin V. The facilities are modern and çlean, and the woman at reception was kind and welcoming. Our own shaded terrace had a sink and cherry trees. The walk into town needs a bit of care since the back route was washed away in the 2019 megastorm, though it may have been restored.

There’s plenty to do in this valley, from hiking and biking to two fantastic Via ferata's, a natural swimming pool, and a wolf parc. In summer, Saint Martin also has markets, music concerts, and playgrounds for kids. The campsite itself sits between fruit trees and mountains, near the village, and has lovely owners who put on get-togethers where you can try homemade confitures, wine, and honey. The toilets and douches are more than perfect, and the climate is lovely too. A perfect place to be.

A friendly welcome, good facilities, and electricity. The camping plots under the fruit trees are lovely, and it's very well placed for walking into the village.
