The food was the highlight of our five-day stay for a junior researcher conference. It was made with local ingredients and tasted so good I couldn't get enough. I hadn't expected much before arriving, but the host was incredibly friendly, and the hospitality went well beyond what I imagined.

The countryside is beautiful, and the walking routes are well marked. Rooms are plain, but spotlessly clean, and both the homemade dinner and breakfast were delicious. A lovely, simple hotel. Give it a try if you want to get off the beaten track.

The meals here are excellent. Our group praised the chef during dinner, and she was very humble about it. Her husband handles reception. It's a quiet, family-run hotel with lovely surroundings and a swimming pool. In summer there are bugs in the pool, which comes with being in the countryside. There's also a small bar and lounge by the entrance, and you can order sandwiches to take along on hikes. Have fun!
