We added an extra 5km to our cycling trip to stay in Saint Michel, and I'm glad we did. The hotel sits in a beautiful spot overlooking a stream and the mountains, and it was quiet both day and night. The couple running it were kind, the service was impeccable, and our room was spotless with comfortable beds. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were the best meals we had on the trip. Thumbs up to the chef!

Sheep pass through the little village twice a day, and sitting outside with a glass of wine as they parade right beside you is a blast. The couple who run the hotel are so friendly and make you feel welcome. We had a small room, but it was more than adequate. Dinner was really good, and breakfast came with lots of coffee. Next time we'll choose a room at the back with a balcony looking over the hills and stream. We'll be back.

We only stopped for coffee, but the location was great and the service was nice. There's a spacious seating area outside, and the hotel is in a peaceful spot. Hopefully we'll come back one day.
