We found Martigues lovely, and the beaches farther south were lovely too. The bus stop right outside the hotel made it easy to go into town on the second night, for just EURO 1 each way. We needed a taxi back, though, as the last bus was around 8pm. We also liked the cocktail bar opposite the hotel. For dinner, there aren't many places within walking distance, but the hotel has a notice board listing nearby restaurants. We walked 1.5km to a steak restaurant because the two buffet places next door didn't appeal. That meant walking along a main road with no pavement, so take the car or bus. Check-in went smoothly, and the receptionist was friendly every time we passed the desk. Our room was nicely equipped but a little compact, with a comfortable bed. The hotel was clean and well kept, though the pool area looked neglected. It's a good value and convenient base.

My company usually puts me up here when I'm working as a seafarer. The rooms are very clean, Wi-Fi is free, and the staff are kind. I love this hotel. Thanks to my company for booking it for me too.

The staff were pleasant and really attentive, and the place was clean and nice. The decor is modern, although I got Bill Doors' photo in my room. Not my taste, since I use Windows 2000.

The industrial neighborhood isn't particularly attractive, though the hotel's location in Provence worked well for us. It's a couple of hours from Montpllier and under an hour from Marseille and the airport. The hotel itself is clean, reasonably priced, and staffed by professionals. We had a giant Ashton Kucher photo above the bed. We laughed about it for 15 minutes, then ended up liking it. A good stay.
