What I’ll remember most is the food: everything was handmade with care and quality ingredients, and the meals felt authentic and special. I’ll miss the lovely breakfasts, homemade crêpes, and jams. The room was beautiful, and the area was peaceful, but it was Jean-Claude and Catherine’s care that made the place feel so special. I stayed at La Balade des Marais for over a week. Jean-Claude and Catherine welcomed me with real warmth, like dear friends, and kept checking that I had what I needed. They also shared tips on places to visit and local hidden gems. This felt like more than a hotel or Airbnb. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like a friend. I’m deeply grateful for the unforgettable stay and already look forward to returning.

The owners made us feel like family, and the gastronomic dinners deserve a thumbs up. They combine fresh, simple flavors in meals that are both delicious and original. The rooms were clean, and the modern place felt safe. We had a great experience and will be back!

Thanks, Jean-Claude and Annette. This lovely couple runs an amazing little hotel and cooks incredible meals. If you can, have dinner there. Mine was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Maybe I’ll be lucky enough to come back.

The property was peaceful, beautifully kept, and surrounded by lush greenery, a perfect spot to unwind. Our room was very clean, tastefully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Jean-Claude and Catherine made us feel welcome right away with their warmth and attentiveness. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner was delicious, prepared with so much love. We’ll cherish our time with you for a long while and wholeheartedly recommend your accommodation. Thank you so much for everything! Michael & Sandra

The setting at La Balade des Marais is pleasant, but that alone doesn’t make the price feel justified. I left feeling I’d paid mostly for the decor rather than the food. The set menu is mandatory, with little choice or flexibility, and the experience felt rigid instead of convivial. For the price, I expected much more refinement in both the flavors and service. The food is described as gourmet, but I found it quite simple and uninspired, making the price clearly excessive for what was offered. I was very disappointed.
