The room felt cramped, and the shower was especially tight. Breakfast was good, with freshly baked croissants, and the staff were friendly. There’s a nice pool too, and the price was reasonable. The long balcony runs along one side of the building, with lovely views of the river, the surrounding hills, and the Popes Palace across the water.

The view is incredible, and having a pool is nice, but the rooms stay hot all the time with no cooling at all. The food was awful. Wi-Fi was unreliable and slow when it did work. The showers are tiny, and there’s nowhere to put clothes or a towel where they won’t get wet. Heat can’t escape the shower room either.

The terrace off the room has a great view over the River Rhone and Avignon. The staff were very kind, the meal was good, and it felt like much better value than the price. If you’re visiting from outside Europe, try walking around the hostel early in the morning to get a feel for everyday French life.

The room was OK, and the staff were very good. It’s really close to the center of Lyon, and the price was reasonable for a good place to stay.

The rooms are cozy, and there’s a pool. Staff speak English and were very helpful. It’s also easy to get to from central Avignon.
