The food was great, the service excellent, and the rate felt very reasonable for what we got. What really stood out, though, was how hospitable the family running the place was. When I had trouble with my bike, their son drove me and the broken bicycle to a bike shop in the next town. Great value, highly recommended!

Our family of five, including our three grown-up kids, rented a small apartment. It was lovely and fully renovated, and the owners were kind and helpful. You can set off on hikes right from the hotel, with superb views of Mont Blanc. Highly recommended.

Saint Nicolas la Chapelle is a charming village that has kept its authentic feel, and the chalet with its apartments fits right in. Our apartment was quiet, clean, and well maintained, and we got a really warm welcome. There are restaurants and a grocery store right at the foot of the chalet. Beyond downhill skiing, you can go winter hiking or snowshoeing, ski cross-country in Les Saisies about 20 minutes away, or visit villages, chapels, oratories, and street art.
