Hotel Residence Saint Ouen

The pictures don't show what the place is really like. We paid an extra €200 on top of €400 to get a private bathroom and shower, otherwise those are shared. The shower head was only at torso height, and the beds seemed full of mites. My body itched the whole ten days I was there. Room service was okay, but the place was disgusting and not welcoming.

We found both bedbugs and huge lice in the hotel. When we asked for a refund because we obviously wanted to move elsewhere, reception was incredibly rude and said the manager wouldn't talk to us. After we got home, we realized we'd brought the lice home from the hotel. We called several times to ask for our money back, and they either hung up or literally cursed at us. Completely ridiculous. Save yourself the trouble and the cost of booking somewhere else. Don't go here!

We ended up paying a lot for another hotel after finding bedbugs and huge lice here. When we told reception, it seemed clear they already knew, but they wouldn't refund us or let us speak to the manager. Once we got home, we discovered we'd brought some lice with us. We called again because a refund seemed obviously fair, but they hung up or literally cursed at us. Completely rude and unhelpful. Save yourself the trouble and money, don't stay here.

The room was dirty, and they didn't change the towels for four days. We had to ask for fresh ones. The Wi-Fi was down for four of our seven days. You could hear people walking around in the middle of the night and showering in the shared bathroom. The place smelled old and dusty.
