The rooms were clean, and the owner welcomed us politely. We had booked three rooms for a wedding nearby, but the property was hard to find and completely under construction, with no outdoor space. Entry was by code. One room had synthetic duvet covers and pillowcases, which didn’t feel hygienic. When we came back during the night, one of the rented rooms was lit up, with the door open and people inside. We paid €71.53 per room, which felt far too expensive for what was provided. In my view, they shouldn’t cost more than €50 a night.

Having one key to open all three rooms felt unsettling, especially since they were rented to different people. We’d booked for an adult couple and their two daughters.

The room itself was clean enough, and the bed was comfortable. Still, it felt more like a hotel room than a bed and breakfast, and there wasn’t much atmosphere. A bad sewer smell and arguments from the neighbors woke me up. Such a shame.

It’s in a great location, and I thought the welcome was really warm. The price was good for what you get, too. Restoring and bringing this place back to life is a wonderful initiative. I’d definitely recommend it.

A good place to use as a base. It’s well equipped if you’re planning to bring your own food, but don’t expect luxury or the kind of service you’d get at a bed and breakfast.
