The hotel feels a little gloomy, but it was perfectly clean and had what I needed. The room was small, with a bathroom pod, a full-length mirror and a really comfortable bed. I liked having the Canal+ sports channels, too. The owners were charming, dogs are welcome, and the price was reasonable. Breakfast is available on site, and there’s a Buffalo Grill right next door.

Breakfast was excellent value, with something for everyone, and the young man serving was friendly and welcoming. I slept comfortably and found everything very clean, though the pillows could be better quality. The daytime receptionist was very welcoming, but the man on the evening shift didn’t answer when we said hello. That and the pillows cost it a star. It has what you need for a night’s stay, with comfortable beds.

There’s no air conditioning, and the hotel is beside a very noisy road, so ask for a room at the back. The place is compact but works well for an overnight stop, and it has heating. Breakfast costs an extra 7.50. One thing to know: the en-suite folding door can’t be opened quietly at night.

The bed was comfy, and the price was good for what you get. A nice option for an overnight stay.
