The peaceful setting has hiking trails and a nature preserve, plus a grand room for gathering and other spots to relax inside. I enjoyed a wonderful locally sourced salad for dinner. Breakfast brought delicate cheese from the owner’s cousin’s nearby dairy farm; there’s a tiny shop there where I bought cheese and jam to take home. I also loved the apple compote, and the owner shared his simple recipe. I’ve made it many times since. The farmhouse itself is a charming, authentic place, just 20 minutes from Lake Geneva. The owner is kind and wonderful, and his family has had the farmhouse for generations. He speaks French and English. My stay was so heavenly I added another night. The rooms are charming, the mattress was so comfortable, and everything was peaceful and quiet. I hope to return.

The owner made us feel at home, and the service was on a par with a five-star hotel. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, all in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommendable.
