Le Mas des Monèdes

We stayed at Mas des Monèdes for three nights and came away delighted. It’s quiet and surrounded by nature, but easy to get to and not cut off. A great fit for couples wanting peace, good walks, and an authentic stay. The old bastide has been renovated and furnished with real care. Stone walls and elegant modern decor work beautifully together, keeping its character while making it feel warm. There are hiking trails right behind the house, and after a day out we loved unwinding on the terrace or cooling off in the pool with those lovely views. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with delicious homemade cake and excellent artisanal jam. There was plenty, and everything tasted carefully made. Guests can also use a shared living room, a refrigerator, and a few utensils like plates and forks. Those extras make longer stays more comfortable and give you some independence. You may not feel like leaving such a lovely spot to find a restaurant. Our room was cleaned and serviced daily, which is quite exceptional for a bed and breakfast and added a lot of comfort. The hosts clearly take care of their guests. The private parking below the farmhouse was really useful in this small hamlet with its narrow streets, and even our SUV could get in easily. We wholeheartedly recommend this charming place to anyone looking to recharge somewhere peaceful and authentic.
