The quiet, nature-filled setting made it easy to unwind, and the pool and fitness center are useful extras for a longer stay. I was in the area for ITER, and the shuttle there was a real help with so little public transport nearby. My room was spacious, clean, and had air conditioning. Staff were polite and helpful throughout, from arrival to checkout. I’d recommend Résid'Artel Val de Durance to people visiting ITER or Cadarache.

The staff were cheerful and always ready to help, which made a big difference to my stay. I was there for three nights while attending a two-day workshop at Cadarache. My studio had the basics I needed, including a TV, air conditioning, utensils, towels, a microwave, a boiler, and a refrigerator, and it was clean. The main entrance to Cadarache was about a 15-minute walk away, which worked well for me. There’s also a pool, a small gym with a few machines, and a nice restaurant outside. I had a really good time.

It was peaceful around the hotel, even with the industrial area nearby, and the pool was nice. My room was clean and equipped, though it didn’t have a dishwasher. Check-in support was quick and precise, and the receptionist was very kind.

There are quite a few cats around, and a cosy restaurant is only a minute away. That restaurant is about the only entertainment nearby, though, since the hotel feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. It was a little hard to find, even with a few signs. The place is set up like apartments, and for late arrivals there’s a machine to collect your key.
