The location is good, but the rooms and bathroom are small, and there was a bad smell around the bathroom. Breakfast didn’t offer enough choice. On weekends the corridor gets very noisy from people coming back from the night clubs. Fine for a brief stay, one or two nights.

I’d read a bunch of worrying reviews and came with low expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a nice old building, and the price is good for this area and the island. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable, the A/C works well, and there’s a nice pool. I’m not sure why so many reviews complain.

We tried to have dinner here this evening, but were told there were no tables in a very hostile, rude way, even though more than half of them were empty. When I pointed that out, they got verbally aggressive, insisted they were full, and told us to leave. I can’t understand treating someone with such disrespect, especially at a restaurant. They don’t deserve a penny, and I’ll never try to eat there again.

The casino next door can get noisy sometimes. The restaurant food was great, and the staff were very helpful. Some of them spoke English.

The rooms were fine, and staff were friendly and helpful. They replaced the towels and brought extra pillows, though their limited English did make communication difficult.
