We stayed for three nights in a very spacious, comfortable first-floor room. Our toilet and shower room were on the landing for our own use. The house was very quiet, and Dom was attentive to what we needed and gave us helpful advice. It was cool and comfortable for sleeping, unlike the coast. Several food stalls are a three-minute drive away, and we ate our takeaways on the lovely terrace. A generous breakfast is available for an extra fee. We highly recommend this place.

The host wasn't welcoming, and the room had no air conditioning and an uncomfortable mattress. There was even a wasp's nest on the skylight. Terrible value for money!

The meals and breakfasts were a highlight, with fresh, carefully chosen ingredients, and the value for money was unbeatable. Kaz a Dom is peaceful up in the hills, with spacious, pleasant rooms and a handy base for visiting the West, the beaches of St Gilles, and the savannah. We had an excellent stay and will be back. 4*.

Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, with fruit, homemade jams, different breads, and brioche. It’s a quiet, well-located spot for sightseeing, and an excellent place to stay.

Dom gave us such a warm welcome and really looked after us. Breakfast was amazing, with local products, and I highly recommend it. We spent one night here as a couple for €102, breakfast included. The guesthouse sits in the hills above Saint-Gilles, so keep in mind that cycling there means going uphill.
