The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and we got fresh towels every day. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, though, and even in a pool-side room, which was much quieter than the road side, you could still hear traffic around breakfast time. At least there was no noise from the neighbors. Breakfast was better than we expected, with basic things like bread, cheese and butter, plus jams, yoghurt and cereal. Coffee from the machine was free at breakfast. Being able to use the kitchen to cook or heat our own food was handy. The location was great too, just a short drive from several West coast beaches. We loved it here.

The beach is a beautiful 5-minute walk away, and the center of Saint-Gilles is easy to reach on foot. We were delighted with our stay. Hervé and his wife were incredibly friendly, and we felt right at home with them. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool was lovely, with no children there. Thank you! 🤩
