Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh bread, pastries, jams, Breton treats including homemade crêpes, a Breton lighthouse, and a delicious cugnamon, plus yogurt and fruit juice. The owner was very friendly and a great host, and there’s a pool table for guests. The apartment felt pleasant and welcoming, though the bed was much too firm for me and the cleaning was a bit basic. I’d recommend it for the warm welcome and especially the breakfast.

The rental was spacious, with a lovely veranda and outdoor area, and the location was very quiet while still close to the sights. It’s not really a gîte, since it doesn’t have the usual services such as breakfast, details about nearby activities, or restaurant recommendations. We missed that kind of information, and it took longer to find our way around. Some upkeep was lacking: cobwebs and bird droppings, dusty veranda armchairs, a rusty kitchen bin, an oven that needed scrubbing, and a gas lighter that hadn’t worked for at least a year. I’d read that the host was friendly, but we only spoke while exchanging checks. The price was attractive, though it didn’t match the prices shown on the website.

I was there for work and found the gîte roomy and comfortable. The owner was very kind and helpful, and breakfast was a nice chance to sit and chat with him. I recommend it.

The house was clean and had everything we needed, so we felt right at home. We had a lovely time thanks to the hosts, who were warm, friendly, and helpful. We’d highly recommend staying here.
