L'Herbe aux Vaches

We loved having breakfast on the terrace, looking out at the pond and its koi carp, with the owner taking such thoughtful care of us. The room was lovely too, and those linen sheets were wonderfully soft. Just a short walk from the sea, it felt like a little Japanese corner of Normandy. Horse-drawn carriage rides through the green countryside offered a way to see the area that was new to us, though we didn't have enough time to take it all in. We had a wonderful stay.

We spent four nights here, surrounded by horses, and left feeling grateful for such a lovely break. The owners were genuinely warm and kind. The garden is beautiful, the setting is splendid, and the accommodation is high quality. Everything was perfect.

We arrived to a warm welcome and were even able to get settled before our planned arrival time. The outdoor spaces are lovely and well set up for relaxing outside, and the whole place is very peaceful. Our room was pleasant and comfortable, with fresh water in the fridge and a welcome tray. Breakfast was excellent and brought to our room. We thought it was very good value and would definitely come back.

At L'Herbe aux Vaches, our three nights were all about feeling calm and well looked after. Sylvain really makes sure you have what you need, and the room was spotless. Breakfast outside, with a view over the meadows, was excellent, and he offered something different each day. Sylvain's kindness added to the peaceful feel of the place. We'd happily recommend it.
