The restaurant was a highlight, with very good food, a strong menu and wine list, and service and quality that felt worth the higher prices. They were more than I was used to in the Lot, though still below what I’d expect to pay in England. I also tried a French whisky at the bar and liked it. We chose this family-run Logis for a night on our drive from the Lot to Calais, and it was just right: close to the motorway but peaceful. Our comfortable, well-equipped second-floor room had a balcony over the Seine, where we could watch the occasional barge pass without hearing much noise. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was good too.

We had drinks in the garden beside the river in the evening, which felt special. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and both the restaurant and breakfast were very good, with breakfast especially good. It’s a beautiful spot by the river. If quirky, interesting hotels appeal to you, this one is worth a look.

After the drive, it was lovely to settle into a relaxing room with a view over the Seine. We only stayed one night, but everything felt just right. Dinner and breakfast were nicely presented and served, and the service was pleasant and attentive throughout. A lovely place to stop.

The staff were caring and attentive, and there was plenty to enjoy beyond the room: a relaxing garden, a sitting area and a rooftop view. The setting on the Seine is beautiful, and the hotel feels very comfortable and recently updated, with lots of thoughtful detail. Riverview rooms are a must. There’s gourmet dinner available, plus bike storage and a pump. I wish we’d had more time here.

The food was a letdown, though the staff were helpful. The hotel itself has a pleasant Anglo-Norman style and a beautiful spot right on the Seine. If you book a superior room, you get beautiful views.
