Hôtel la Capelle

The rooms were super clean and modern, and breakfast was excellent. We also caught the Friday market in Millau, which I’d highly recommend, and found plenty of nearby restaurants for different tastes and budgets. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help. You can pull up outside briefly to unload and check in, then get a discounted pass for the nearby Q Park. It’s in the pedestrian area, just a short walk from the town centre.

Waking up to birdsong was lovely, and the view from the room added a lot to the stay. I’d definitely pay extra for a room with a view. It’s a peaceful spot within an easy walk of the main attractions, bakeries and restaurants. The room is small but practical, with a comfortable bed and crisp, clean sheets. The staff were outstanding and went out of their way to make things nice. There were thoughtful extras too, including a very good coffee machine and coffee, tea, and organic hand and shower soap. Parking was easy and cost about €13 for two nights.

The front terrace, with its views of the nearby mountain ranges, was a real bonus. The team were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. Cafés and restaurants in the city centre are an easy walk away, as is a very convenient underground car park. Great spot, and we’ll come back for a longer stay.

We booked La Capelle for a big group of motorcyclists, and from the first inquiry through check-in, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was professional, warm and friendly. The hotel itself is modern, well equipped, and has excellent, comfortable rooms. We enjoyed using the bar, and the location works well for sightseeing nearby and for getting to good restaurants and bars. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was good quality, with something for every taste. Thanks from all of us, La Capelle will be on our regular list.
