The room was great apart from the heat, but the air conditioning wasn’t working at all. I called reception and they didn’t help. I can’t sleep in this kind of heat, and I need to be rested for the long drive back to the UK tomorrow.

The rooms are okay, I suppose you get what you pay for. Fine for one night to sleep after a long drive, but I couldn’t stay any longer.

Easy to find and good value, with breakfast included. The rooms are small but have tea and coffee facilities, though there’s no fridge. The bathroom was good and the shower was great. A handy place for an overnight stop.

This is my second stay here with my husband and dog, and we’ll definitely be back in summer with my grandchildren, and the dog too. It’s a fabulous hotel and a great place for dogs, with little surprises for them. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Breakfast is continental, with plenty to choose from.

This is a basic hotel by the A75 trunk road. It’s worth stopping to see the view from under the viaduct. There was no restaurant when we visited. The Buffalo restaurant is 500m away, but you have to cross a set of dangerous roads to get there. That wasn’t good with my disabled partner.
