Andrew sorted us out so quickly after we turned up without warning, tired, hot and covered in grime. In about an hour we were showered, settled into a lovely room, and sitting in the garden with wine. He even arranged a table at a nearby restaurant and drove us there and back. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic, and there was enough to feed ten.

We had a really comfortable short stay, with very attentive hosts and plenty of tasty food. The thoughtful little details in the room made us feel at home, and the coast is close by. I'd happily come back if I'm in the area.

Our room had a shower and was practical, with water and homemade cookies waiting as a nice extra. The bedrooms and pool have been renovated, while the lounge is functional and the garden is lovely and quiet. Andrew and John gave us a warm, attentive welcome and showed us around for our two-night stay. Breakfast was fresh, with a good mix of sweet and savory things. We'd definitely return.

The house is quiet and pet-friendly, and our clean, comfortable room was just right for unwinding. Andrew and John welcomed us almost like family. The homemade breakfasts were generous, and the food was delicious. You can tell they truly enjoy having guests. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

John and Andrew gave us a wonderful welcome, and the decor felt both authentic and distinctive, with real care in the details. The place sits a bit off the beaten track in the Charente countryside, though it's still within easy reach of things. It should be very peaceful when there isn't roadwork nearby. And that bara brith at breakfast deserves a special mention.
