The owner's character really brings this estate to life. She's a remarkable woman, full of travel stories, warm-hearted, and wonderful at introducing guests to Creole food. Her local chicken curry was the best I've had in a long time. I found this one of the most authentic restaurants on Reunion Island, and the whole team deserves congratulations for making the island shine. The lush, well-kept garden is full of details I loved, and the pool is at the heart of the estate, making it a lovely place to relax. I spent a weekend there with my family and found the quiet and Creole character I was hoping for. It's authentic, pleasant, and comfortable, a rare place where it's easy to feel good. I could happily have stayed a week or my whole trip. Boulevard Banks is about a 5-minute drive away, so reaching the center of St Pierre is easy. The area is ideally located. I'll definitely return.

After a good night's sleep, you're ready to head out and explore the island again. Sylvie is a welcoming host, and if you're lucky she might show you how she fertilizes the vanilla she grows at home. She can also prepare a meal for 30 euros if you want, and it's well worth it: appetizers, starter, main course, dessert, and spiced rum. A real delight. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast with a pool!
